You will lie down on a glass bed surrounded by thousands of points of colored lights emitting healing frequencies to your entire body. It feels warm and comforting, like feeling sunshine from head to toe all the way around. You won't need to do anything but relax. Perhaps you will feel or experience things mentally, emotionally or spiritually--some do, some don't. But know that the light frequencies will be deeply penetrating the tissues of your body physically. Yes, if you prefer that, it's fine with us. Children, those with autism, alzheimers or mobility problems require help and supervision. We get that. Plus, the person you bring with you will most likely get some good out of just being in the room while the light affects both of you.
No. But it can get hot depending on the setting. You will feel like you're completely surrounded by sunlight, but you won't get a sunburn. The higher the frequency used, the warmer the temperature can get, though, so don't be surprised if we are putting you on detox frequencies and you start to sweat. And that's OK because sweating removes those toxins. Drink lots of water, and don't put on lots of lotion beforehand.
Wear comfortable gym clothes without zippers or buttons on the back that could scratch the glass surface of the light therapy bed. Remove your shoes and socks. This is not a tanning bed, so don't come in swim attire. Don't wear a lot of jewelry.
